No filter in unit and was plugged up with crud. Moved in the morning to room M433 because of A/C. A/C marginal, had to sleep on top of blankets. Had to go down to front desk to re-key 5 times. last time I made them have a service guy meet me. It took 35 min. He tried to fix it but they have no parts to do so or any new ones to replace it!!!!! A third service person came up with a new room M470. That key didn't work when I came back to the room. Down to front desk for re-key.When I and my room mate tried to split the bill she didn't know HOW!! Now we a dealing with credit card screw ups.
So no A/C. Buffet below standard, door key cards don't work, front desk can't do simple math, no hotel manager on duty after hours (Pit Boss acts as hotel manager-useless), service people say they have no parts to fix things, last room M470 one bed was not made, plaster was coming down in shower, BUT A/C in casino was working......I was with a group of 8, 4 rooms. Two got fed up and went across the street, the other 3 rooms had the same problems....Even if they comp you..There are going to be two reviews for this establishment. One for the Hotel, the other for the casino.Hotel- 3 out of 5:This hotel is good for a Wendover hotel. It has one of the best pools and the layouts and amenities are good. There is a Starbucks on site and to ask for anything extra, like towels or pillows it will take forever. There are restaurants on-site but they are overpriced for not great food. The best part is the price from $39-59 a night you can get a room in Wendover and go to the other Casinos.

If you go on a week night you will only play blackjack, craps, or roulette.
